Café Hawelka is still one of the most famous coffee houses in Vienna. As a meeting place for writers and artists of the past and present, an authentic atmosphere awaits you here. At “Hawelka” everything stays the same – only the generations change.
Café Hawelka in Vienna’s 1st district is one of the last great traditional Central European coffee houses. It is still run by the Hawelka family, just as it was when Leopold Hawelka and his wife Josefine opened the café 80 years ago.
